when my hub and i first moved to portland,

we found this cute tiny apartment with old charm in nw.

close to everything in the city, it was also close to the largest

natural city park in the nation, forest park.

i have enjoyed many many hikes out my back door on sunny

saturday mornings, foggy tuesday afternoons, and rainy

thursday nights... and always going by my favorite tree:

 

we are moving this weekend, no too far away but to the other side 

of the river. i know i will be back to enjoy washington and forest park

still, however the proximity just turned into 5 miles instead of 5 minutes.

south east portland: here i come!
