over the past year i have been three places (probably more) and seen bike sharing...

portland needs to get on it!

however, as a traveler to these cities, 

they are not intended for tourism. 

they work much better as a means 

for short trips around the city.

faster than walking, 

not as much hassle and cheaper

(not to mention environmentally light)

than an automobile.

i have a big stellar "swap" with a dear friend in minneapolis every year. 

it rocks so much to put together a little package of portland and handmade gear,

and in return receive some kick-a$$ stuff.
