being a house guest is never an easy task. i love having people over (even in our tiny place), but not being much of a cook takes a little fun out of a gathering. i found this handy little application for my ipod touch that makes finding recipes super easy. whole foods has an application with some delicious (sounding) recipes. i decided to try one out!
roasted red peppers with quinoa (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free)
ingredients: red peppers red onion carrots mushrooms parsley cumin cinnamon spinach quinoa sesame seeds (roasted) salt pepper olive oil
the whole process took me about 2 hours (1 hour cook time in the oven) but i hand chopped everything because i don't own a food processor.
